Texas is home to 15 military installations and the U.S. Army Futures Command. Known as Military City USA™, San Antonio is home to 684,000 military personnel and 266 mission partners. San Antonio’s population is expected to grow by over 1.2 million people (40%) in the next 20 years, placing extreme demand on the city’s already over-burdened transportation network. • The continued use of liquid fuels for transportation
• All vehicles contributing to creation and maintenance of roads and highways
